Five Cliftonville players featured as Northern Ireland Women’s World Cup qualifying campaign ended with a victory over Latvia this afternoon.

International captain Marissa Callaghan (pictured) started the game alongside Reds team-mates Toni-Leigh Finnegan and Caitlin McGuinness, while Kirsty McGuinness and Abbie Magee were introduced from the bench in Jurmala.

After Anastasija Rocane put the hosts in front, Northern Ireland levelled through an own goal from goalkeeper Enija-Anna Vaivode.

Callaghan struck the crossbar before Arta Luize Lubina became the second Latvian player to score an own goal ahead of Vaivode finding her own net again as Kenny Shiels’ side concluded their Group D campaign with a win.
