Ronan Hale’s clock-busting strike against Carrick Rangers has been voted Cliftonville’s Goal of the Month for August.

The 23-year-old’s overhead kick crossed the line after just 7.92 seconds of the Danske Bank Premiership encounter at Solitude, where a precision kick-off routine set the tone for what proved a rollercoaster ride of a match.

Hale’s acrobatic finish – which you can check out along with last month’s four other nominees below – will now automatically be shortlisted for Cliftonville’s Goal of the Season at the end of the 2022/23 campaign.
