Just what the doctor ordered
Cliftonville Football Club were this evening delighted to induct Dr John Campbell to the John McCredy McAlery Hall of Fame.
Welcomed by Chairman Gerard Lawlor at the commencement of the Club’s Awards presentations, Dr Campbell – who has served the Reds for almost 30 years – joins the illustrious names bestowed with iconic status at Ireland’s Oldest Football Club, including the Reds’ 1979 Irish Cup winning side, who were also conferred tonight.
Named in honour of Cliftonville FC’s founding father, the Hall of Fame was established to celebrate and highlight the achievements of our greatest ever servants, with Dr Campbell rightly congratulated and acknowledged for the integral role he has played, and continues to play, at Solitude.
