Rocked to the Curr

Ryan Curran is Cliftonville Football Club’s Player of the Year.

Announced at this evening’s Club Awards presentation at The Devenish Complex, the 25-year-old took the top honour after a string of fine performances and memorable goals throughout his debut season after joining from Ballinamallard United.

Though the final decision was ultimately determined by a specially-selected panel, our expert judges were assisted by statistics from the various monthly polls conducted throughout the campaign, as well as the recent Player of the Year survey, where Curran joined Richard Brush and Joe Gormley as the top nominees – ensuring that any supporters who cast a vote even once during the course of the season can rest assured that their input was welcomed and embraced before the winner’s name was etched on the trophy.

That wasn’t the only accolade that Ryan picked up, however, with a double swoop of awards secured when he earned the acclaim of his team-mates in being named Players’ Player of the Year.
