Academy foursight

Cliftonville Football Club are delighted to announce that four Academy players have signed their first professional contracts.

Paul Stanfield, Alfie Anderson, David Green and Sean Cassidy have all put pen to paper on two-year deals at Solitude in the presence of their proud parents.

Stanfield (main image) captained Cliftonville Strollers to the Academy League Under-18 title this season and made his senior Reds debut in last month’s Sports Direct Premiership fixture with Coleraine.

Manager Jim Magilton handed Anderson (above) his bow in March’s Inver Park encounter with Larne, while Green (below) featured in the 2-1 win over Linfield on the final day of the 2025/26 League programme.

Cassidy (below) has, meanwhile, made a telling impact within our Academy in recent times and can join his team-mates in looking ahead to the next stage of their development at the home of Ireland’s Oldest Football Club.
