Devine’s a treble maker

Cliftonville Ladies 5-0 Mid Ulster Ladies

Carla Devine was the hat-trick hero as Cliftonville Ladies overcame Mid Ulster Ladies to maintain their 100% record in the Sports Direct Women’s Premiership.

Two quickfire strikes midway through the first-half set both Devine and the Reds on their way, with Caitlin McGuinness making it 3-0 on the stroke of half-time.

The second period was just a few minutes old when Toni-Leigh Finnegan added her name to the scoresheet but Devine claimed the final say – and the matchball – when she pounced to seal her treble five minutes from time.
