Some snap calls
Ahead of this afternoon’s friendly with Southport at Solitude, Cliftonville Football Club are pleased to remind our supporters of the NI Football League’s ‘Snapshots’ feature, where Chris Curran reflects on the highs and lows of a memorable career.
Following on from the skipper’s recent induction to the Club’s Hall of Fame and his farewell interview on our YouTube channel, this 34 minute presentation sees Chris – who will don the boots on last time today – look back on his time with Manchester United before returning home to become part of the Ballinamallard United side that took the Premiership by storm more than a decade ago.
His subsequent move to Solitude and the glory days he enjoyed under Tommy Breslin form a prominent part of this heartfelt review, during which the 33-year-old looks back on treasured European nights with Cliftonville, his close bond with the Red Army and, of course, bringing the curtain down on his playing days by lifting the Irish Cup.
An interview not to be missed, you can catch up with it right now by clicking the video above or by visiting the NI Football League’s YouTube platform.
