Cliftonville Ladies 2-0 Crusaders Strikers

Cliftonville Ladies extended their 100% record in the Sports Direct Women’s Premiership with an impressive North Belfast Derby victory at Solitude this evening.

Despite bossing the first-half against Crusaders Strikers, the only goal the Reds had to show for their efforts come the interval was Vicky Carleton’s 36th minute conversion after good work from Marissa Callaghan and Danielle Maxwell in the build-up.

It was a similar story after the break, with John McGrady’s side unable to claim the security of a second goal until four minutes from time when substitute Caitlin McGuinness produced a cool finish after rounding the goalkeeper.
