Katie Markey hit the winner as Cliftonville Ladies continued their defence of the Women’s Premiership League Cup by marching through to the Final at Glentoran’s expense this evening.

Ahead through Caitlin McGuinness early on, the Reds found themselves trailing when Emily Wilson and Demi Vance netted for the Glens, only for Carla Devine to level things up before half-time.

The second period didn’t produce quite so much goal action, but Markey’s decisive strike ensured that, despite Toni Leigh Finnegan’s dismissal for a second bookable offence, the Cup holders progressed to meet Lisburn Rangers in the Final.
