Marissa Callaghan captained Northern Ireland Women to victory in this afternoon’s UEFA Nations League Play-Off clash with Montenegro.

Goals from Lauren Wade and Demi Vance earned a 2-0 win in Podgorica, to hand Tanya Oxtoby’s side – for whom Callaghan’s Cliftonville team-mates Kelsie Burrows and Toni Leigh Finnegan were unused substitutes – a welcome advantage ahead of Tuesday’s second leg at Windsor Park.
