Cliftonville Ladies’ hopes of a trophy treble were clinically ended by Glentoran Women in this evening’s Electric Ireland Women’s Challenge Cup Final.

Despite dominating the first-half, the Reds had nothing to show for their efforts at Windsor Park, where the Glens raced in front early in the second period through Kerry Beattie.

A doubly deflected header from Emma McMaster made it 2-0 and, after Vicky Carleton had been sent off for a rash challenge on Demi Vance, substitute Rachel Rogan completed the scoring.
