Be fixture perfect

The Sports Direct Women’s Premiership has served up another trilling title finale – and the Champions would welcome your support as they bid to retain their crown.

Cliftonville Ladies currently sit nine points behind Glentoran Women at the top of the standings and, though John McGrady’s side have two games in hand over their rivals, the Reds’ next match could not be more pivotal, with a trip to east Belfast slated for Monday night.

Just 48 hours after that encounter at Ashfield Boys High School, Cliftonville travel to face Ballymena United Women before another away day against Sion Swifts Ladies on Sunday, October 8.

The Reds return to Solitude when they take on Sion Swifts Ladies on the 11th before bringing the curtain down on their Premiership programme at home to Crusaders Strikers two days later, with a mouth-watering Electric Ireland Women’s Challenge Cup Final showdown with the Glens scheduled for Windsor Park on Saturday, October 21.
