The Cliftonville FC Awards will take place at Belfast’s Hilton Hotel this evening, when the end-of-term presentations officially bring the curtain down on the Club’s 2021/22 season.

A memorable nine months of action saw the Reds lift silverware with that never-to-be-forgotten League Cup Final comeback against Coleraine before booking a return to European football courtesy of a runners-up position in the Danske Bank Premiership – and, much as it has undoubtedly been a team effort, a host of coveted individual prizes will be up for grabs tonight.

Supporters’ votes have determined the Official Cliftonville FC Player of the Year and Goal of the Season accolades, while the Players’ Player of the Year honour will be handed out to the performer who has won the acclaim of his team-mates.

In addition to the introduction of the Young Player of the Year gong, we’ll also be reopening the doors to the John McCredy McAlery Hall of Fame and presenting the Freddie Jardine Special Merit Award, which is reserved for volunteers who have served the Club with distinction and which has previously been won by Imelda Petticrew and Roisin Lawlor.

The all-ticket, black-tie event gets under way at 7pm and supporters who won’t be in attendance can follow all of the key developments on our Twitter platform, where the winners will be announced in real time.
