Huge congratulations to Lauren Welsh, who helped Ballyclare High to victory in yesterday’s Electric Ireland Super Schools Football Festival.

Staged at Mallusk Playing Fields, the occasion saw more then 1000 young female footballers contest 314 7aSide fixtures, with Cliftonville Corinthians goalkeeper Lauren – who also represents our Under 17s – keeping a clean sheet in her school’s Final fixture to help ensure the silverware headed to the east Antrim venue.
