Guinning for gold

Caitlin McGuinness’ stunning finish against Lisburn Rangers has been shortlisted for the Women’s Premiership Goal of the Season award – and she’s counting on your vote.

The 24-year-old – who will get her hands on the Sports Direct Women’s Premiership trophy when the Reds are formally crowned Champions at Solitude this evening – found the top corner with a wonderful strike in the 35th minute of last month’s 3-1 victory, which you can vote for on the NI Football League’s WhatsApp channel.

Polling closes at 8am tomorrow, so be sure to get involved and pass the link on to friends and family alike to help Caitlin add yet another accolade to an already impressive personal roll of honour.
