The month ahead: August

The new Boyle Sports Premiership season kicks off at Solitude on Friday night when the curtain is raised with a mouthwatering North Belfast Derby.

Tickets for Cliftonville’s clash with Crusaders are available online while, just like last year, the Reds’ first away day of the campaign sees us travel to Bangor for a Clandeboye Park clash on Saturday, August 15.

Jim Magilton’s side will then tackle Linfield at the Clearer Twist Stadium six days later before rounding off the opening month of the term with a home game against Dungannon Swifts on the 29th – so be sure that all of those dates are in your diary as we gear up for the start of another rollercoaster ride.
