Hannah Doherty scored twice as Cliftonville Ladies maintained their 100% start to the Sports Direct Women’s Premiership season with a five-star display against Derry City Women.

There were just three minutes on the clock when the defender broke the deadlock with what proved the only goal of the first-half.

After the interval, Victoria Carleton doubled the Reds’ advantage ahead of Doherty’s second of the night putting the hosts into a commanding 3-0 lead.

Though Chelsea Scott pulled one back for Derry on the hour, McGuinness sisters Kirsty and Caitlin netted within six minutes of one another to wrap up the points.
