It’s a Dan deal

Cliftonville Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Dan O’Connor.

The London-born 21-year-old central defender emerged through the ranks at Mervue United and enjoyed a spell in Galway United’s Academy before joining Ipswich Town in 2023 and, following a loan stint with Farnborough, featured for both Kerry and AFC Totton last season.

A commanding presence at the back, Dan has garnered considerable experience on either side of the Irish Sea and, as he prepares to embark upon his first taste of the Sports Direct Premiership, all at Solitude extend a warm welcome to the home of Ireland’s Oldest Football Club.
