World to the wise

Four Cliftonville players have been named in the Northern Ireland Women’s squad for next month’s World Cup qualifiers with Turkiye and Switzerland.

Maddy Harvey-Clifford, Kelsie Burrows, Fi Morgan (pictured) and Danielle Maxwell have all been selected by Manager Michael McArdle for the League B Group 2 encounter with Turkiye in Istanbul next Friday, June 5 and the Mourneview Park date with the Swiss four days later, while Reds midfielder Louise McDaniel is on the standby list.

As ever, we wish all of Cliftonville’s representatives well on the international stage.
