Cliftonville Ladies are delighted to announce the return of Hannah Doherty.
A multiple trophy winner during her previous spell at Solitude, the 28-year-old defender has put pen to paper with the Reds following a season at Linfield.
Part of the Cliftonville side that clinched an invincible Sports Direct Women’s Premiership title success as part of a trophy treble that also included the Irish Cup and League Cup in 2024, Doherty also featured in the team’s inaugural Champions League campaign and brings a wealth of experience to the squad in the countdown to the new season getting under way.
Also signing up for the year ahead, meanwhile, are teenage talents Aoife Gargan, Lucy Kelly and Charlotte Havern.
A Northern Ireland Under-19 international, Kelly makes the switch from North Belfast rivals Crusaders Strikers, with Havern – who has captained Northern Ireland at Under-17 level – joining from Linfield, where she picked up the Swifts’ Players’ Player of the Year award last term.
Likewise moving from the Blues, we extend a warm welcome back to Gargan who, as a lifelong Red, has been a familiar face at Solitude for many years, with Matchball Sponsorship and European away day Mascot duties to her name.
We look forward to seeing all four of this week’s arrivals in action during the season ahead.
