Orleigha McGuinness was named Player of the Match in Cliftonville Ladies’ Sports Direct Premiership victory over Lisburn Rangers at Solitude on Saturday night.
Presented in the aftermath of the 1-0 victory that kept the Reds firmly in the title race ahead of this weekend’s winner-takes-all showdown with Glentoran Women, the award was the final such accolade of a season that has seen numerous Matchday Partner show their support of our Ladies team, and we take this opportunity to extend our sincere gratitude to all of the 2025 campaign’s Match and Matchball Sponsors.
Teegan Lynch was, in addition, bestowed with September’s Player of the Month award, while Marissa Callaghan’s stunning strike in the recent home victory over Linfield Women was named the team’s Goal of the Month.
Cliftonville are, of course, still in the reckoning for a second consecutive Premiership title and would be grateful for your support in Sunday’s must-win showdown with the Glens.
Kick-off at Blanchflower Stadium is at 6pm and, with only a victory good enough to claim the crown, the Red Army being and their loudest and proudest would be of huge assistance as captain Kelsie Burrows and her team-mates target another historic success.
