Cliftonville Ladies are pleased to announce that Orleigha McGuinness has signed her first professional contract with the Club.

Younger sister of Kirsty and Caitlin, the 17-year-old defender earned the team’s Young Player of the Year award following a series of stellar displays last season, when she more than played her part in the squad reaching no fewer than four Cup Finals.

Boss John McGrady has been delighted with Orleigha’s progress in recent years and, just days before the new Sports Direct Women’s Premiership campaign gets under way, looks forward to seeing what impact she can have in the year ahead.
