Community spirit

Bank Holiday Monday was filled with fun for all the family at Solitude.

Cliftonville Football Club were delighted to open our doors to the local community, who were welcomed along to enjoy food, drink, music, chat and company while kids played games and displayed their skills in a series of mini tournaments on the pitch.

As well as players of various ages from within our highly respected Academy, the Reds’ first-team stars were also there for photographs and autographs on what was day two of our Community Outreach Group’s big weekend, following on from Sunday’s Coffee Morning and Belfast Marathon support effort.

We hope that everyone who attended had a thoroughly enjoyable day and we pass on our sincere thanks to all who played their part in organising and assisting the various stalls and entertainments that ensured Solitude was a hive of activity from start to finish.
