Cliftonville Football Club were delighted to formally acknowledge three recent milestones ahead of Saturday’s Clearer Water Irish Cup fifth round victory over Dundela.
Chairman Kieran Harding made presentations to strike pair Joe Gormley and Ryan Curran as well as Brian Campbell in recognition of the trio’s individual landmark achievements with the Club.
Gormley’s 300th Reds goal – which came in November’s BetMcLean Cup victory over Strabane Athletic – was celebrated in front of a typically appreciative home support, as was Ryan Curran’s penalty finish against Bangor last month; his 100th goal lifting him above the legendary John Platt as the eighth leading scorer in Cliftonville’s history.
Campbell (main image), meanwhile, oversaw his 1000th match as Kitman in our previous home fixture, with all at the Club extending our ongoing thanks and congratulations for his dedication during what is his 19th season in the role.
