Jim Magilton is expecting a big reaction from his side when Cliftonville face Portadown at Solitude tomorrow.

Disappointed with the performance that led to defeat against Dungannon Swifts last time out, the Reds chief says the only way his men can put things right is by pocketing all three Sports Direct Premiership points up for grabs this weekend.

“I’ve gone on record every week to say every team is well prepared,” he explained.

“You have to be ready for the challenges that each team provides. Last Saturday was another tough game for us, but we’ve got to lick our wounds.

“We’ve got to look forward to Portadown. It will be a big test for us, but a big test for them too.

“We’re obviously expecting a tough fixture but we need to make sure that it’s every bit as tough for Portadown as well.”
