In the pink

The specially commissioned pink jerseys worn by Cliftonville’s goalkeepers on Sunday proved popular with our supporters – which is why we’re pleased to announce their availability to buy!

Both David Odumosu and Lewis Ridd sported the eye-catching kits in support of our charity partners Pretty n Pink, who will receive a portion of the profits from these sales in addition to further benefiting when the weekend’s matchworn shirts are auctioned in the New Year.

You can snap yours up right now from our online shop or visit us in-store at Solitude between 4-7pm on Thursday evening.

Emblazoned with the logo of Northern Ireland’s only breast cancer charity – which provides practical help to patients and their families – the sale of jerseys was formally launched with the help of 12-year-old Lily Rooney, 10-year-old Ryan Cunningham and his brother Jay, who is seven.

The boys’ mother, Gemma, passed away through breast cancer at the age of 38 almost four years ago, while Lily’s aunt, Noleen Adair, founded Pretty n Pink in 2006 and, following her own passing in 2014, her sister Leanne has taken up the reins.

Cliftonville Football Club are only too humbled to back this amazing organisation in any way we can, and we know that our fans will be delighted to lend their own support, both financially by buying one of these limited edition O’Neills shirts and by proudly sporting the Pretty n Pink logo on matchdays and beyond.
