Time for tee

Just nine days remain until the Cliftonville FC Golf Day at Fortwilliam Golf Club.

Though a limited number of hole sponsorship opportunities remain available, the event – proudly sponsored by O’Neills – is completely sold out with all tee times allocated.

We look forward to welcoming everyone along for what promises to be a fantastic occasion and can advise that the tee times next Friday, September 11 are as follows:

The main competition will be a team event, with the best two scores from each fourball counting on holes 1–17 and all four scores counting on the final hole.

There will also be first and second individual prizes for the highest-scoring players who are not part of the winning team. In addition, there will be the usual Longest Drive and Nearest the Pin competitions. Please note that handicaps will be capped at 24.

After completing the front nine, golfers will be able to avail of refreshments at the halfway hut. On the 10th hole, there will also be an optional £5 Nearest the Pin competition, with the winner taking home £100.

Golfers are asked to arrive 30 minutes before their allocated tee time to register, make payment and collect their scorecards. We kindly ask that everyone brings cash, as card payments may not be available on the day.
