Hannah Doherty opened and closed the scoring as Cliftonville Ladies made it 12 wins from 12 Sports Direct Women’s Premiership fixtures at Lisburn Ladies’ expense this evening.

After seeing an attempted cross fortuitously find the net with nine minutes on the clock, Doherty got her angles spot on to curl home just past the hour to put the seal on the Reds’ 6-0 success.

In between times, a cool finish from Carla Devine had doubled the hosts’ lead, with Caitlin McGuinness striking to make it 3-0 early in the second-half.

Elder sister Kirsty then added the fourth before Caitlin’s second of the night had Cliftonville five to the good, with Doherty netting again to maintain the team’s healthy position in the race for the title.
