Glentoran Women 2-1 Cliftonville Ladies

Cliftonville Ladies fell to their first defeat of the domestic season as Glentoran Women claimed the County Antrim Cup in tonight’s Final at Blanchflower Stadium.

The home side took the lead through Rachel Rogan just past the half-hour mark, while controversy surrounded the second goal of the night when Chloe McCarron’s effort was allowed to stand despite strong offside calls against the Glens’ Demi Vance.

Kirsty McGuinness pulled one back in injury-time but the Reds were unable to retain their grip on the trophy as the east Belfast side held on for victory.
