Regular readers of our Matchday Magazine will know all the facts and figures behind each new week at Cliftonville Football Club, while our Twitter followers are regaled with daily delves into the archives and, as Heritage Development Officer Paul Treanor notes, last Wednesday’s UEFA Conference League encounter with Auda provided a few more updates for the stats book.

The second qualifying round tussle at Skonto Stadium saw 80th minute substitute Jack Berry become the 140th player to represent the Reds in Europe, while the number who have been named on a teamsheet without ever making it on to the pitch was extended to 34.

Fellow sub Joe Gormley’s second-half introduction saw him draw level with Ronan Scannell on 17 continental appearances for the Club, one behind all-time leader Ryan Catney, while Ruaidhri Donnelly – who has featured in Europe in all three of his stints with the Reds – became our 13th player to reach double figures of outings in UEFA competition.
