Number one fans

On this traditional final day of the winter football season in Europe, Cliftonville Football Club thanks our supporters for their sensational backing over the past 12 months.

Though a number of issues are still to be resolved in League and Cup competitions across the continent, May 31 is widely recognised as the closing date in the UEFA calendar and it would be remiss to let such an occasion pass without the Club expressing gratitude to everyone who played their part throughout the 2023/24 campaign.

Whether you were a part of record-breaking Season Ticket sales, bought tickets on a weekly basis or paid your way at turnstiles across the land, we extend our thanks to the Red Army for getting behind the team from Solitude to Stark’s Park and everywhere in between.

While the 2023/24 season will rightly go down in history as the year that saw Cliftonville finally end our long wait for Irish Cup glory, we should not overlook the contribution that individual fans and volunteers made on a daily basis – all of which added up to a collectively memorable and celebrated chapter in the story of Ireland’s Oldest Football Club.

It won’t, of course, be long until we start all over again, with a number of pre-season friendlies having already been announced as part of the team’s preparations for the UEFA Conference League and the myriad domestic challenges that will follow – and we can’t wait to welcome you all back to Solitude for what promises to be another rollercoaster year.
