Cliftonville Football Club are very pleased to announce the signing of Luke Conlan.

The 29-year-old defender moves to Solitude following a four-year spell with English National League side AFC Fylde.

Originally from Portaferry, Conlan began his professional career with Burnley and undertook loan spells with St Mirren and Morecambe before sealing a 2019 move to The Shrimps, with whom he garnered more than 100 games of Football League experience.

Capped by Northern Ireland at Under-15, Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 level, Conlan is Cliftonville’s second new arrival of the day following the signing of fellow defender Michael Newberry earlier this afternoon.
