Ladies hang five again
Cliftonville Ladies 5-0 Derry City Women
Cliftonville Ladies made it back-to-back five-star wins to begin the new Sports Direct Women’s Premiership season with victory over Derry City Women this evening.
A week on from a 5-0 victory over Mid Ulster Ladies, John McGrady’s side again hit five without reply to climb to the top of the table on goal difference.
Katie Markey opened the scoring on 36 minutes before Danielle Maxwell made it two goals in as many outings since her return from Blackburn Rovers.
Marissa Callaghan made it 3-0 in the second period and, after Kelsie Burrows had got in on the scoring act, Carla Devine wrapped things up late on.
