Mid Ulster Ladies 0-5 Cliftonville Ladies

Danielle Maxwell needed less than a minute to get back in the goal routine as Cliftonville Ladies started their Sports Direct Women’s Premiership campaign with a five-star display against Mid Ulster Ladies.

Maxwell, who returned to the Reds from Blackburn Rovers in midweek, opened the scoring at Stangmore Park, where finishes from Louise McDaniel and Kirsty McGuinness had the visitors 3-0 up at half-time.

McDaniel added number four after the break before Carla Devine completed the scoring to ensure a winning start to the new League season for John McGrady’s side.
