Ryan Corrigan was among the goals as Northern Ireland Under-17s signed off from their Euro 2024 Elite Round Qualifying mini-tournament with a 3-1 victory over Hungary this evening.

Trailing 1-0 at half-time at St George’s Park, Northern Ireland – for whom Cliftonville’s Keevan Hawthorne started the game – levelled shortly after the break through Cole Brannigan before Corrigan emerged from the bench to put them 2-1 up with 12 minutes remaining, with third place in the group guaranteed when Braiden Graham added a third soon later.

Earlier today, meanwhile, Reds duo Odhrán Casey and Sean Stewart were part of the Under-21 side that recorded a 2-1 win over Serbia in their European Championship qualifier in Leskovac.
