Cliftonville Football Club alerts our supporters to a forthcoming fundraiser for the NI Children’s Hospice.

The Walking On Sunshine Event will take place on Saturday, April 6 in memory of the late Poppy Ogle.

In May 2022, 10-year-old Poppy sadly passed away after being diagnosed with an extremely rare form of Sarcoma Cancer and, to thank the NI Children’s Hospice staff for their compassion, care and support, the Cregagh girl’s family have organised a sponsored walk that will begin in her native east Belfast and traverse the Ormeau Road, Donegall Road, Falls Road, Shankill Road and Antrim Road before reaching the Hospice.

Thereafter, the group will continue on to the Shore Road, Short Strand and Newtownards Road ahead of completing their journey at Stormont.
