Joe’s getting shirty
Fancy laying your hands on some legendary items from Cliftonville history?
Two of Joe Gormley’s matchworn shirts will be up for auction during the striker’s Testimonial Dinner at The Devenish Complex on Saturday night.
A jersey Joe sported during his 37-goal haul when the Reds successfully defended their Premiership title a decade ago will go under the hammer, as will the top he wore when he became the Club’s all-time leading goalscorer with a record-breaking strike against Crusaders in October 2018.
But don’t worry if you can’t attend this weekend’s event and still want to make a bid for these precious items of memorabilia – you can still get involved by contacting Joe’s Testimonial Committee (07795663323, 07950490324 or joegormleytestimonial@outlook.com) as soon as possible.
Ticket holders for Saturday’s black-tie occasion, where Adrian Logan will act as compere and former Celtic Manager Neil Lennon will be Guest of Honour, are advised that doors will open at 6pm and they are kindly requested to be in their seats for 7pm.
