Closing loss

Cliftonville Ladies 1-2 Crusaders Strikers

The curtain came down on Cliftonville Ladies’ Sports Direct Premiership season with a North Belfast Derby defeat to Crusaders Strikers at Solitude this evening.

After falling 2-0 behind to second-half strikes, the Reds – who made a number of changes to their line-up ahead of next week’s Electric Ireland Women’s Challenge Cup Final – registered a consolation effort from Kirsty McGuinness (pictured) as the visitors held on for the win that guaranteed third place in the table.
