Second-half goals from Kirsty McGuinness and Louise McDaniel saw Cliftonville Ladies get the better of Lisburn Ladies in this evening’s Sports Direct Women’s Premiership tussle at Solitude.

Playing their penultimate fixture of the League season, the Reds – sporting their green away kit for the occasion – needed 65 minutes to make the breakthrough but did so in style courtesy of McGuinness’ free-kick.

Two minutes later, McDaniel volleyed home number two to hand the hosts a more comfortable cushion, which they came close to adding to through McGuinness and Danielle Maxwell before the final whistle.
