Kirsty McGuinness was named in the starting line-up for Northern Ireland Women’s victory over Albania at Seaview tonight.

Lauren Wade scored the only goal of the Nations League Group B1 encounter, during which Reds captain Marissa Callaghan was introduced from the subs bench.

Fellow Solitude favourites Rachael Norney, Abbie Magee and Caitlin McGuinness were unused substitutes in the tie, while the youngest of the McGuinness sisters – Orleigha – was in the Northern Ireland Women’s Under-19 side that overcame the Republic of Ireland in a Blanchflower Stadium friendly on Sunday.
