Yet another Final countdown begins

The Electric Ireland Women’s Challenge Cup Final will take place on Saturday, October 21.

A heavyweight showdown between Cliftonville Ladies and Glentoran Women, the eagerly-anticipated tussle has been slated for a 6pm kick-off at Windsor Park.

The Reds, who have already lifted the County Antrim Cup and Women’s Premiership League Cup this term, remain firmly in the hunt to defend their Sports Direct Women’s Premiership crown and, trailing the Glens by nine points with two games in hand, return to League action against their title rivals next Monday night.

The teams will lock horns again just a few weeks later when the final silverware of the season is up for grabs, and supporters are advised that ticketing information for that decisive battle will be disclosed as soon as it has been confirmed by the Irish Football Association.
