Ben and done it

Congratulations to Ben Wilson, who has been voted August’s Player of the Month by Cliftonville supporters.

The 21-year-old striker opened his scoring account in the 3-0 victory over Newry City and, after registering a double against Carrick Rangers, found the net in eye-catching style when the Reds faced Larne last Saturday – contributions which helped earn him 46% of our fans’ online votes.

In addition to commending Ben on landing our first accolade of the season, we also place on record our thanks to the many hundreds of supporters who took the time to get involved and advise that there’s still time left to participate in August’s Goal of the Month poll.
