Cliftonville Ladies 1-1 Sligo Rovers Women

Cliftonville Ladies brought the curtain down on their group commitments in the Avenir Sports All-Island Cup with a 1-1 draw against Sligo Rovers this evening.

The Reds – whose place in the semi-finals was already guaranteed prior to kick-off – took a 25th minute lead when Danielle Maxwell netted for the third time in as many outings in the competition, only for Emma Doherty to register a quickfire leveller for Rovers.

Despite chances for both sides, that’s how the contest ended, with Cliftonville now awaiting news of who they will face in the last-four.
