Double hit

There was double delight for Cliftonville at this evening’s Ulster Footballer of the Year presentations, with Sean Moore and Caitlin McGuinness emerging with accolades to their name.

Staged at the Audi showroom in east Belfast, Young Footballer of the Year Moore picked up the trophy won by Reds team-mate Luke Turner 12 months ago, while McGuinness was named Women’s Player of the Year – an honour which, in addition to silverware, entitles the 20-year-old to full use of an Audi car for a weekend and a full valet of a car of her own!

Congratulations are extended to both players on being recognised for their momentous contributions to their teams’ respective campaigns.
