Ten to won

Today marks 10 years since Cliftonville brought the curtain down on the 2012/13 Danske Bank Premiership season by parading the Gibson Cup at Solitude – and we’ll be toasting two legendary anniversaries when the heroes of both that team and our 1998 Champions are honoured on a special celebratory evening at Belfast’s Hilton Hotel.

Incorporating the 2023 Cliftonville FC awards, the black tie occasion will see legends from Marty Quinn’s Premier League winners rub shoulders with Tommy Breslin’s Class of 2013 as we turn the clock back to some of the most iconic days in the history of Ireland’s Oldest Football Club.

A decade on from George McMullan’s ice-cool penalty kick to clinch the Premiership crown and 25 years since that stomach-churning hour-long wait for the mother of all title parties, supporters are invited to join us as we hail the legends of yesteryear and reward the team’s top performers from the 2022/23 campaign.

The event will take place on Saturday, June 17 and tickets, which cost £40 per person and can also be secured for tables of 10, are available from Kevin Crossan, who can be contacted on 07740579225 – but, with demand expected to be high, anyone interested in being part of our anniversary celebrations is encouraged to book their seat as soon as possible.
