Deepest sympathies

Cliftonville Football Club offers sincere condolences to the family and friends of our former player Caina Healey, who is being laid to rest this morning.

The 35-year-old was involved in a tragic cycling accident in Abu Dhabi last Wednesday and, thanks to the sterling efforts of all involved in the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust, returned to her late family home in Derry this week.

A Requiem Mass will be held at St Eugene’s Cathedral this morning before Caina (pictured front row, third from left above) is laid to rest in the City Cemetery, with all at Solitude extending our deepest sympathies to her parents Brian and Nuala, siblings Maureen and Mark, partner Lauren and her many former Reds team-mates, who will be represented by Marissa Callaghan at today’s service.
