Supporting Jonathon Doran

Cliftonville Football Club are pleased to join forces with Glentoran and Team Dot to host a pre-match collection ahead of tomorrow’s Danske Bank Premiership fixture at Solitude.

Organised to raise funds for five-year-old Jonathon Doran, supporters of both Clubs are thanked in advance for any donations they are able to contribute.

Born without any health issues, Jonathon became particularly susceptible to infection at 10 months old, which led to frequent stays in hospital and an eventual diagnosis of Geleophysic Dysplasia, which effects the skeletal form, heart, lungs, skin, liver and eyesight.

He has been on a ventilator since December 2021 and his family were recently given the devastating news that Jonathon’s condition has deteriorated to the extent that he only has months to live.

Team Dot, a fundraising charity, immediately agreed to lend their expertise, and Cliftonville FC are pleased to have linked up with Glentoran to stage a collection this weekend.

All donations will be gratefully received, while anyone who cannot make it to the match but would still like to contribute can do so via any of the methods below:

Team Dot PayPal: Teamdotpresents@hotmail.com
Santander: 09-01-35; 53175289
Glentoran Social Partnership: 95-06-79 20124729; Ref: Jonathon
Glentoran Social Partnership PayPal: socialpartnership@glentoran.com

Supporters are also advised that, prior to kick-off, an applause will be held in memory of long-time Reds fan Henry McDonald, who sadly passed away earlier this week.
