Red Army’s perfect 10

Cliftonville’s Danske Bank Premiership fixture with Glentoran tomorrow represents the 10th home end sell-out at Solitude this season.

Having snapped up a host of ticket allocations both at home and on the road last term, the Red Army began the 2023/23 campaign by turning out in their numbers for July’s Europa Conference League first qualifying round tie with DAC – when, such was the demand, our supporters were accommodated in the Bowling Green Stand as well as their traditional McAlery Stand and Main Stand Lower territories.

Following the cessation of Season Ticket sales due to maximum uptake, Cliftonville’s first home game of the Premiership programme saw a full house witness a dramatic 3-2 victory over Carrick Rangers, with League encounters against Crusaders and Glentoran likewise leading to the ‘Sold Out’ signs going up.

Our fans also purchased every ticket for the St Stephen’s Day Derby with the Crues at Seaview before kicking 2023 off by occupying all available seats when Larne, Linfield, Coleraine and Ballymena United visited in January.

The home end allocation was also taken up when the Bannsiders returned to Solitude on Samuel Gelston’s Whiskey Irish Cup duty earlier this month and, having sold out the away stand for last Saturday’s trip to Larne, the Red Army will also be out in force when Cliftonville take on the Glens this weekend.

As well as thanking our supporters for their wonderful backing, the Club encourages everyone attending tomorrow’s match to arrive as early as possible.

To reduce congestion at the turnstiles in the countdown to kick-off, fans are asked to have their tickets ready for scanning as they approach Solitude and, while printed tickets are preferred, tickets correctly downloaded onto mobile devices as PDFs are acceptable.

Please do not take a screenshot and, similarly, ticket holders are kindly requested not to use devices with cracked screens.

Your cooperation in these matters is appreciated by both the Club and indeed your fellow fans.
