Graced with presence

Congratulations to Grace McKimm, who has been drafted into the Northern Ireland Women’s squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Luxembourg and Latvia.

Currently at an international training camp with the Under-19s, McKimm has this evening received her first call-up to the senior panel from boss Kenny Shiels following Cliftonville team-mate Kelsie Burrows’ enforced withdrawal.

Northern Ireland face Luxembourg at Stade Emile Mayrisch next Friday before concluding their qualifying campaign at the Daugava National Stadium in Riga four days later and McKimm’s selection means that – alongside Marissa Callaghan, Kirsty McGuinness, Caitlin McGuinness, Louise McDaniel, Abbie Magee and Toni-Leigh Finnegan – the Reds remain represented by seven players in the squad.
