In the trust

Cliftonville Football Club are pleased to confirm our participation in this season’s SPFL Trust Trophy.

A 53-team knockout competition comprising Scottish Premiership B sides and Clubs from Scotland’s Championship, League One, League Two, Highland and Lowland Leagues, the Reds – who qualified by virtue of our runners-up position in the 2021/22 Danske Bank Premiership – will be joined by Linfield and Welsh representatives The New Saints and Caernarfon Town as the tournament’s cross-border entrants.

Cliftonville will join the series in the third round, fixtures for which are currently scheduled for the weekend of September 24/25, meaning our Premiership match with the Blues at Windsor Park is subject to rearrangement.
